Our Worship Times Minimize

We invite you to make Christ the center of your life. Please inquire with our staff members or email Christ Lutheran about our church programs of interest to you. Bring your friends!

Sunday Morning Services
8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
(Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month)

Christ Lutheran offers a variety of traditional and contemporary worship formats.  The first Sunday of the month offers a traditional Worship experience at both early and late service.  On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month a traditional service is offered at 8:00am with contemporary worship at 10:45am led by our Praise Worship Team.  On the 3rd Sunday contemporary worship is offered at 8:00am and traditional at 10:45am.  Any 5th Sunday will be traditional at both 8:00am and 10:45am.

Join us for coffee and fellowship in the Parish Hall at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday, then take advantage of one of the many educational classes which begin at 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday Morning Service

Adults are welcome to the service and to the light lunch at the school following the service.

Seasonal Services in the season of Advent (first weeks of December), Wednesday morning (10:00) and evening services (7:00) are held in keeping with pre-Christmas worship. The same schedule is followed during the Lenten season for seven weeks prior to Easter.

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and Thanksgiving Eve services are also held.

How We Worship Minimize

In our worship life, we are a liturgical church. Our worship service takes a definite form which gives order to our worship as St. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:40: “But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.”

The following gives a brief outline of our basic worship service used on Sunday mornings.

Invocation of the Triune God

Confession of Sins and Pronouncement of Forgiveness

Scripture Readings from both the Old and New Testaments

Sermon, based upon the Word of God

Prayers

Lord’s Supper

Benediction

The worship life of the congregation includes congregational singing, vocal and bell choirs, and instrumental music as fits the Sunday or special worship days.
