Christ Lutheran places great importance on Christian Growth classes. A variety of topics provide a well-rounded program to meet the various needs of our membership at every stage of life.
Each Sunday people of all ages from 2, 3 and 4 year old children through adults join to study the Bible in various settings.
It is the goal of the Sunday School to reach as many persons as possible as the Word of God is studied, as it is written in the Bible.
The present enrollment is:
98 adults, 46 children and 16 High School youth
There is a staff of 26 persons who lead various classes and administrate the Sunday School.
Study guides are used to lead children and youth into a proper understanding of God’s Word for their age level.

September 5 - God Creates the World - Genesis 1-2:3
September 12 - God Creates Adam and Eve - Genesis 1:26-2:25
September 19 - Sin Enters the World - Genesis 3, Upper grades + John 3:16
September 26 - Cain and Abel - Genesis 4:1-16, Upper grades + Genesis 5
During the month of October, the Sunday School lessons will focus on the life of Martin Luther and what that means to Christians of our day.

November 21 - Jacob and Esau - Genesis 25:19-34; 27:1-40
November 28 - Jacob's Dream - Genesis 27:41; 28:22
The 7th & 8th Grades Class is studying "Journey of Faith." This study helps guide junior high students through God’s unchanging Word, which is especially helpful in their changing lives. Ronnie Price is the class teacher. The Following are the topics for the Classes of August - November:

High School class - The Sr. CYF Sunday School class, co-taught by Pastor Schellhas and Cassie McIntosh, is currently studying world religions. Using a resource from CPH called "One God, Many Gods," the class is studying a number of the major religions, including Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Mormonism, New Age, and Atheism. The unit will conclude with a sub-unit from Dare-2-Share Ministries' "reality TV"-esque study, Gospel Journey: Maui. In this series, a group of young people from different religious backgrounds participate in a trip to Maui that gives them opportunities to talk openly about their beliefs and worldview.

That the World May Know - led by Pastor Eckhoff, this Bible Study series is designed to help God's people better understand God's revealed mission for their lives by allowing them to hear and see His words in their original context. (Pastor Knief, Substitute)

World Religions - led by Jim Grebe in the Daniel’s Den Room - Parish Hall (Jeff Grebe, Substitute)
"The Book Of Psalms" is the subject of a new adult Bible study course that is now beginning during the Sunday School hour. The Psalms express hope in the Lord God for salvation, using prayers and praises spoken by God’s people at the tabernacle and temple or by individuals. Every psalm will be explored with discussion questions, application, and summary insights. You are invited to join this class which is led by Wilbur Schaefer in the Cornerstone Room - Parish Hall basement at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings.
