Lifelight Bible Study Minimize

LifeLight is an in-depth small group Bible study that meets for nine consecutive weeks. Two courses are held each year–one in the fall starting in September, and one starting in February. The topic is usually a specific book of the Bible.

Participants receive a lesson to work on at home each day of the week, and then once a week the group members come together to discuss the lesson and share what they have learned.

At Christ Lutheran Church the LifeLight groups meet in homes of host families which provides a cozy and familiar atmosphere. Good fellowship and tasty treats become an important part of the group study as well as growing in knowledge of God’s Word and in faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Winter, 2012 LifeLight study of the 2nd half of Matthew classes will begin at 8:30 AM, February 1, 2012 in the Parish Hall for 9 weeks. Additional Classes will be on Sunday evening, February 5 at the Al Schneider home at 6:00 PM for 9 weeks and Sunday afternoon February 12 at the Matt VandeVoorde home at 5:00 PM for 8 weeks and Tuesday evening at the Rev. Roger Disbro home February 7 at 6:00 PM for 9 weeks.  For additional information, contact the church office at 309-637-5309 or Mrs. Sue Lee at 309-697-9436.
